1. For Direct Bookings (Phone / WhatsApp / On-site)
Direct bookings are those made by calling us, messaging us on WhatsApp,
or paying advance directly to Bahari Alang Resort (not via any app).
Advance Amount: To confirm your booking, we usually take an
advance payment. The exact amount may vary depending on the dates,
room type and group size.
Free Cancellation Window: If you cancel
72 hours or more before your
check-in date, your advance is generally eligible to be
adjusted for a future date (subject to availability and
tariff difference).
Within 72 hours: Cancellations made
within 72 hours of check-in may be
charged fully or partially, depending on occupancy and season.
No-Show (Guest does not arrive): In case of a no-show without
information, the booking is treated as
non-refundable.
Date Change / Rescheduling:
If you wish to change your dates instead of cancelling:
If requested 72 hours or more before
check-in – we usually allow a one-time date change, subject to room
availability and rate difference.
If requested within 72 hours – date
change is purely subject to management approval.
2. For Online Bookings (MakeMyTrip / Goibibo / Others)
If you booked through any online travel website or app, their
policy will apply.
Please check the “Cancellation / Refund Policy” shown on your
booking screen or voucher at the time of reservation.
Some rates are Non-Refundable, while some allow free
cancellation until a certain date and time.
All refund requests for such bookings must be raised
directly with the respective portal (MakeMyTrip, Goibibo,
etc.).
The resort can only confirm your check-in status and stay
details to the portal; actual refund is processed by the booking
website/app as per their terms.
3. Same-Day Bookings & Peak Dates
For same-day bookings, festival periods, long weekends or high
demand dates:
Bookings may be treated as non-refundable or with a shorter
free-cancellation window.
Any special offers or promotional rates may clearly mention
“No Cancellation / No Refund”.
4. Early Check-out or Shortened Stay
If you choose to check-out earlier than your booked dates:
For packages and confirmed bookings, the
remaining nights are usually non-refundable.
In special cases (medical emergency, genuine issue), management may
consider a partial adjustment, purely at its discretion.
5. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by Bahari Alang Resort (for direct
bookings), we try to process it within
7–10 working days.
Refund time can vary depending on your bank, UPI app or payment
gateway.
For bookings made via portals (MMT, Goibibo, etc.), refund timelines
are controlled by the respective platform.
